Recombinant human TGIF2LX protein
TGIF2LX is a member of the TALE/TGIF homeobox family of transcription factors. Testis-specific expression suggests that this gene may play a role in spermatogenesis. A homolog of this gene lies within the male specific region of chromosome Y, in a block of sequence that is thought to be the result of a large X-to-Y transposition. Recombinant human TGIF2LX protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
