Recombinant human DTD2 protein
DTD2 belongs to the DTD family. This protein hydrolyzes D-tyrosyl-tRNA (Tyr) into D-tyrosine and free tRNA (Tyr) . It could be a defense mechanism against a harmful effect of D-tyrosine (Potential) . Recombinant human DTD2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
