Recombinant human Snail protein
Snail homolog 1, also known as SNAI1, is involved in the epithelial to mesenchymal transition (EMT) and formation and maintenance of embryonic mesoderm. This protein binds to 3 E-boxes of the E-cadherin gene promoter and represses its transcription. Recombinant human SNAI1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli
