Recombinant human PTMA protein
Prothymosin alpha, also known as PTMA, belongs to the pro/parathymosin family. This protein may mediate immune function by conferring resistance to certain opportunistic infections. Recombinant human PTMA protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
