Recombinant human GTLF3B/NATD1 protein
Protein GTLF3B, also known as C17orf103, is a 113 amino acid protein that belongs to the GTLF3B family and is encoded by a gene that maps to human chromosome 17p11. 2. Two key tumor suppressor genes are associated with chromosome 17, namely, p53 and BRCA1. Tumor suppressor p53 is necessary for maintenance of cellular genetic integrity by moderating cell fate through DNA repair versus cell death. GTLF3B is also linked to neurofibromatosis, a condition characterized by neural and epidermal lesions, and dysregulated Schwann cell growth. Recombinant human GTLF3B protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
