Recombinant human MEOX2 protein
Homeobox protein MOX-2, also known as MEOX2, belongs to a family of nonclustered, diverged homeobox genes that are expressed in overlapping patterns in the paraxial mesoderm and its derivatives. It may play a role in the regulation of vertebrate limb myogenesis. Mutations in the related mouse MEOX2 may be associated with craniofacial and/or skeletal abnormalities, in addition to neurovascular dysfunction observed in Alzheimer's disease. Recombinant human MEOX2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
