Recombinant human RARRES1 protein
Retinoic acid receptor responder protein 1 isoform 1, also known as RARRES1, belongs to the TIGs (Tazarotene-induced gene) family. TIGs act as tumor suppressor genes in human cancers and are highly expressed in skin, hair follicles and endothelial cells as well as in pancreas, spleen and intestine. TIGs are activated by tazarotene and have been implicated as growth regulators that mediate the growth suppressive effects of retinoids. Recombinant human RARRES1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli.
