Recombinant human ARC protein
Activity-regulated cytoskeleton-associated protein, also known as ARC, is required for consolidation of synaptic plasticity as well as formation of long-term memory. This protein regulates endocytosis of AMPA receptors in response to synaptic activity. This protein required for homeostatic synaptic scaling of AMPA receptors. This protein plays a role in the regulation of cell morphology and cytoskeletal organization. Recombinant human ARC protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
