Recombinant human CLNS1A protein
CLNS1A, also as known as, Methylosome subunit pICln, belongs to the pICln (TC 1. A. 47) family. CLNS1A protein has functions in multiple regulatory pathways. This protein interaction with Sm proteins inhibits their assembly on u RNA and interferes with snRNP biogenesis. It is Inhibits the binding of survival motor neuron protein (SMN) to Sm proteins. And this protein is also found associated with the plasma membrane where it functions as a chloride current regulator. Recombinant human CLNS1A protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
