Recombinant human LIN-28B protein
Lin28B belongs to the lin-28 family. LIN28 protein is a microRNA-binding protein that binds to and enhances the translation of the IGF-2 (insulin-like growth factor 2) mRNA. Lin28B is acts as a suppressor of microRNA (miRNA) biogenesis by specifically binding the precursor let-7 (pre-let-7), a miRNA precursor. Recombinant human Lin28B protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
