Recombinant human NIPP1/PPP1R8 protein
PPP1R8, also as known as NIPP-1, is the RNA-binding subunit of a major species of protein phosphatase-1 in the nucleus. This enzyme is inhibitor subunit of the major nuclear protein phosphatase-1 (PP-1) . It has RNA-binding activity but does not cleave RNA and may target PP-1 to RNA-associated substrates. Recombinant human PPP1R8 protein, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
