Recombinant human CSRP2 protein
CSRP2 (Cysteine and glycine-rich protein 2) is a member of the CSRP family, contains 2 LIM zinc-binding domains, which may be involved in regulatory processes important for development and cellular differentiation. This protein plays a role in the development of the embryonic vascular system. CRP2 contains two copies of the cysteine-rich amino acid sequence motif (LIM) with putative zinc-binding activity, and may be involved in regulating ordered cell growth. Other genes in the family include CSRP1 and CSRP3. Recombinant human CSRP2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
