Recombinant human IFN-gamma/IFNG protein
IFNG, also known as interferon gamma, is secreted by lymphocytes stimulated by mitogen and is involved in the differentiation, maturation, and proliferation of hematopoietic cells. Natural human interferon-gamma is composed of 143 amino acid residues without cysteine residues and is glycosylated. Proteolytic processing produces C-terminal heterogeneity, with proteins ending alternatively at Gly-150, Met-157 or Gly-161. Recombinant human IFNG protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography.
