Recombinant human PSMG4 protein
Proteasome assembly chaperone 4, also known as PSMG4, is a chaperone protein which promotes assembly of the 20S proteasome. It interacts with PSMG3, as well as directly alpha and beta subunits of the 20S proteasome but dissociates before the formation of half-proteasomes, probably upon recruitment of POMP. Recombinant human PSMG4 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
