Recombinant human FAM3C protein
FAB3C belongs to the FAM3 family and contains a GG domain. A change in expression of this protein has been noted in pancreatic cancer-derived cells. Fam3c may be a downstream target gene for the Nkx5. 1 transcription factor, and may thus be involved in cell differentiation and proliferation during inner ear embryogenesis. Also, it may be involved in retinal laminar formation and promotes epithelial to mesenchymal transition. Recombinant human FAM3C, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
