Recombinant human ARF7/ARL14 protein
ARL14 (ADP-ribosylation factor-like 14) is a developmentally regulated member of the ADP-ribosylation factor/ARF-like protein (ARF/ARL) family of Ras-related GTPases. MHC class II molecules (MHC-II) present peptides to T helper cells to facilitate immune responses and are strongly linked to autoimmune diseases. MHC-II transport was controlled by the GTPase ARL14/ARF7, which recruits the motor myosin 1E via an effector protein ARF7EP. Recombinant human ARL14 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
