Recombinant human CRCP protein
CRCP, also known as CGRP-RCP, is an ubiquitous coupling protein for the calcitonin gene-related peptide and adrenomedullin receptors. It modulates ligand responsiveness in a variety of tissues. It has been DNA-directed RNA polymerase activity, catalytic activity and calcitonin receptor activity. Recombinant human CRCP protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography.
