Recombinant human CUTC protein
CuTC is a member of the Cut family and is suggested to be involved in efflux trafficking of cuprous ion. The Cut family was associated with the copper homeostasis and involved in several important metabolisms, such as uptake, storage, delivery, and efflux of copper. Copper is an essential heavy metal trace element that plays important roles in cell physiology. Recombinant human CuTC protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
