Recombinant human TREX2 protein
TREX2 is an enzyme containing 3-prime-to-5-prime exonuclease activity and removes mismatched, modified, fragmented, and normal nucleotides to generate the appropriate 3-prime termini for subsequent steps in the DNA metabolic pathways. This enzyme is involved in DNA replication, repair, and recombination. Recombinant human TREX2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
