Recombinant human EF-1 beta/EEF1B2 protein
Elongation factor 1-beta, also known as EEF1B2, is a translation elongation factor. The protein is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor involved in the transfer of aminoacylated tRNAs to the ribosome. EEF1B2 and EEF1D stimulate the exchange of GDP bound to EEF1A to GTP. Recombinant human EEF1B2 protein, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
