Recombinant human ARL5/ARL5A protein
ADP-ribosylation factor-like 5A, also known ARL5A, belongs to the ARF family of GTP-binding proteins. ARFs are important in eukaryotic vesicular trafficking pathways and play an essential role in the activation of phospholipase D. unlike many ARF family members, ARL5 is thought to lack ADP-ribosylation enhancing activity. ARL5A is developmentally regulated and may play a role in nuclear dynamics and signaling cascades during embryonic development. Recombinant human ARL5A protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
