Recombinant human Annexin A11/ANXA11 protein
ANXA11 (Annexin A11) is a member of the annexin family, a group of calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding proteins. Annexins have unique N-terminal domains and conserved C-terminal domains, which contain the calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding sites. ANXA11 binds specifically to calcyclin in a calcium-dependent manner. And it required for midbody formation and completion of the terminal phase of cytokinesis. This protein is a 56-kD antigen recognized by sera from patients with various autoimmune diseases. Recombinant ANXA11 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
