Recombinant human PIN/DYNLL1 protein
DYNLL1, also known as DLC8 or PIN (protein inhibitor of neuronal nitric oxide synthase), has been identified as a protein that interacts with NOS1 resulting in NOS1 inhibition. Binding of this protein destabilizes NOS1 (Neuronal nitric oxide synthase) dimer, a conformation necessary for activity, and it may regulate numerous biologic processes through its effects on nitric oxide synthase activity. DYNLL1 is a ubiquitously expressed protein that exhibits high expression in testis and moderate expression in brain. Recombinant human DYNLL1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
