Recombinant human AA protein
AASDHPPT belongs to the P-Pant transferase superfamily. This protein catalyzes the post-translational modification of target proteins by phosphopantetheine and can transfer the 4-phosphopantetheine moiety from coenzyme A to a serine residue of a broad range of acceptors, such as the acyl carrier domain of FASN (in vitro) . It is detected in heart, skeletal muscle, placenta, testis, brain, pancreas, liver and kidney. Recombinant human AASDHPPT protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography.
