Recombinant human CCL13/MCP-4 protein
CCL13 is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family that is also known as thymus and activation regulated chemokine (TARC) . This protein induces chemotaxis in monocytes, eosinophils, T lymphocytes, and basophils by binding cell surface G-protein linked chemokine receptors such as CCR2, CCR3 and CCR5. It can be induced by the inflammatory cytokines interleukin-1 and TNF-alpha. Recombinant human CCL13 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
