Recombinant human GRHPR protein
GRHPR, also known as GLXR, is a member of the D-isomer specific 2-hydroxyacid dehydrogenase family of proteins. Localizing to the cytosol, GRHPR is ubiquitously expressed with highest expression levels found in liver. The protein has widespread tissue expression and has a role in metabolism. GRHPR is an enzyme with hydroxypyruvate reductase, glyoxylate reductase, and D-glycerate dehydrogenase enzymatic activities. Recombinant human GRHPR protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques
