Recombinant human Cyclophilin-like 2/PPIL2 protein
PPIL2, which belongs to the cyclophilin family of peptidylprolyl isomerases, is an enzyme that plays an important role in protein folding, immunosuppression by cyclosporin A, and infection of HIV-1 virions. This protein interacts with the proteinase inhibitor eglin c and is localized in the nucleus. Recombinant PPIL2 protein was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
