WiDr Lysate
WiDr cells are established from a 78 year old female with colon adenocarcinoma. The cells are negative for colon antigen 3 expression and positive for keratin by immunoperoxidase staining. WiDr cells expressed p53 antigen. Growth of WiDR cells is inhibited by tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha) . Inhibitors of dihydrofolate reductase are highly cytotoxic to WiDR cells.

Aliquot the lysate into single tube and then storing them -80C or below. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.

Preparation
Heat lysate to 95°C for 5 minutes and rapidly cooling before use.
