Human SMAC/Diablo antibody

SMAC/Diablo is one of the proapoptotic proteins. SMAC promotes caspase activation in the cytochrome c/Apaf-1/caspase-9 pathway by binding to inhibitor of apoptosis proteins (IAPs) and removing their inhibitory activity. In healthy cells, SMAC is a mitochondrial protein, but when cells undergo apoptosis, SMAC is released into the cytosol. SMAC is ubiquitously expressed with highest expression in testis. Expression is also high in heart, liver, kidney, spleen, prostate and ovary. Low in brain, lung, thymus and peripheral blood leukocytes

FACS Description

Flow cytometry analysis of SMAC in HeLa cell line, staining at 2-5ug for 1x10^6cells (red line) . The secondary antibody used goat anti-mouse IgG Alexa fluor 488 conjugate. Isotype control antibody was mouse IgG (black line) .

IF Description

ICC/IF analysis of SMAC in HeLa cells. The cell was stained with ATGA0266 (1:100) . The secondary antibody (green) was used Alexa Fluor 488. DAPI was stained the cell nucleus (blue) .
