LAP3, Human (HEK293, His)

The LAP3 protein is a cytosolic metallopeptidase that serves as a catalytic entity responsible for the removal of unsubstituted N-terminal hydrophobic amino acids from a variety of peptides. The peptidase activity of LAP3 depends on the presence of Zn (2+) ions, and its substrate specificity can be modulated by binding to other cofactors.
