Letosteine is an orally active, potent and safe expectorant. Letosteine has the effect of scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) . Letosteine dissolves bronchial mucus and reduces respiratory inflammation symptoms, and restores gas exchanges and natural defense mechanisms in the lung.
