Alkaline phosphatase assay kit

AKP/ALP is a zinc containing protease, which can hydrolyze various natural and synthetic phospholipid monoesters in alkaline environment. AKP/ALP is widely distributed in all organs of the human body, mainly liver. In the alkaline environment, AKP/ALP catalyzes the formation of free phenols by the AKP/ALP sodium phosphate, and the phenols react with 4- amino antipyrine and potassium ferricyanide to react with red subquinone derivatives and have the characteristic light absorption in 510nm; the AKP activity is calculated by measuring the rate of 510nm absorbance increase.
