Potassium perfluorohexanesulfonate is an orally active surfactant found in sera of the general population. Potassium perfluorohexanesulfonate induces adaptive hepatocellular hypertrophy, decreases serum cholesterol and increases alkaline phosphatase in male mice[1][2].
