Recombinant HBsAg protein, Tag free
Product Specifications
Background
Hepatitis B virus surface gene encodes small (HBs), middle (MHBs) and large (LHBs) surface protein. These proteins are translated from distinct start codons, but share a common reading frame and stop codon. HBs has 226 amino acids, a major viral envelope component. HBsAg is an important parameter to establish a diagnosis of hepatitis B disease in the clinic and to monitor antiviral treatment. Whole length HBS surface antigen of HBV subtype adw was expressed from CHO cell line containing 226 amino acids, with molecular weight about 23kDa. CHO expressed HBsAg is with the high sensitivity to react to human hepatitis B virus surface antibody, it can be used as the standard in the product quality control, ELISA test to verify the effectiveness of HBsAg vaccination and vaccine study.
