The specific antibody is pinpointed by a secondary antibody that is conjugated with a horseradish peroxidase (HRP) polymer, designed to specifically recognize mouse immunoglobulins. The polymer attached complex is subsequently made visible under light microscope using HRP-compatible chromogens, such as diaminobenzidine (DAB) .
