SCXA Antibody / Scleraxis
Scleraxis/SCXA is a transcription factor that is essential for the proper formation of tendons and ligaments in our bodies. It is responsible for regulating the expression of genes that are involved in tendon development, maintenance, and repair. Without Scleraxis, our tendons and ligaments would not be able to function properly, leading to a host of musculoskeletal issues. Research has shown that mutations in the SCXA gene can lead to conditions such as chronic tendon injuries, tendinopathies, and even developmental abnormalities in tendons.
