Zebrafish Gata3 Antibody / GATA binding factor 3
Gata3 is expressed early in development and is particularly active in neural crest derivatives, including the sympathetic nervous system, sensory neurons, and otic vesicle. It is also involved in nephrogenesis, where it regulates the patterning and differentiation of the pronephric duct and tubules. Functional studies have shown that loss of gata3 disrupts normal development of the auditory system, leading to defects in otic vesicle morphology and neurosensory patterning. Due to its evolutionary conservation and regulatory importance, zebrafish Gata3 serves as a valuable model for studying neuronal specification, ear development, and renal morphogenesis, as well as immune system development--particularly T-cell differentiation in vertebrates.
