Macrophage scavenger receptor 1 (MSR1), also known as scavenger receptor-A (SR-A) or cluster of differentiation 204 (CD204) . Present primarily on the surface of various types of macrophage, This receptor is macrophage-specific trimeric integral membrane glycoproteins and have been implicated in many macrophage-associated physiological and pathological processes such as atherosclerosis, innate and adaptive immunity, lung and liver disease, and more recently, cancer.

This protein carries an Avi tag (Avitag™) at the N-terminus, followed by a polyhistidine tag. The protein has a calculated MW of 44.9 kDa. The protein migrates as 55-90 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
