CCNK Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Product Specifications
Background
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the transcription cyclin family. These cyclins may regulate transcription through their association with and activation of cyclin-dependent kinases (CDK) that phosphorylate the C-terminal domain (CTD) of the large subunit of RNA polymerase II. This gene product may play a dual role in regulating CDK and RNA polymerase II activities. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008], function:May play a role in transcriptional regulation. In vitro, is associated with a kinase activity toward both RNA polymerase II C-terminal domain and CDK2 (CAK) ., similarity:Belongs to the cyclin family. Cyclin C subfamily., subunit:Part of a cyclin-kinase pair in the RNA polymerase II holoenzyme. Binds to CDK9., tissue specificity:Ubiquitously expressed. Highest levels in testis.
