Reactivity

Human

Immunogen

BALB/c mice were immunized with human T lymphoblasts and spleen cells of the immunized animals were fused with X63-Ag8.653 mouse myeloma cells. The supernatants of the resultant hybridomas were screened by a proliferation inhibition assay (inhibition of the human T lymphoblast response to IL-2) . Two of those (the clones AHT54 and AHT107) that produced antibodies which inhibited IL-2 dependent proliferation of human T lymphoblasts were selected, cloned and recloned.

Dilution

Receptor for interleukin-2. The receptor is involved in the regulation of immune tolerance by controlling regulatory T cells (TREGs) activity. TREGs suppress the activation and expansion of autoreactive T-cells.
