Bovine CCL4 (MIP-1 beta) ELISA

The Bovine CCL4 (MIP-1beta) ELISA contains capture antibody, standard, and detection antibody for development of a Bovine CCL4 ELISA. The antibodies have been determined to function in an ELISA with the standard provided. Optimal buffers, concentrations, incubation times, incubation temperatures, and methods for the ELISA have not been determined. This allows for complete flexibility to provide optimal dynamic range and sensitivity based on your sample type. The Bovine CCL4 ELISA can also be used to measure American Buffalo, Yak, and Zebu CCL4. Components may also be purchased separately. For research use only.

Background

CCL4 belongs to the CC chemokine family and is commonly known as MIP-1β. There are at least 27 distinct members of the C-C subgroup reported for mammals. They are characterized by two adjacent cysteines. CC chemokines induce the migration of monocytes and other cell types such as NK cells and dendritic cells. CCL4 is a chemoattractant for natural killer cells, monocytes and a variety of other immune cells. CCL4 is involved in several inflammatory and autoimmune diseases including viral infection such as HIV-1/AIDS.
