Bovine CCL11 (Eotaxin-1) Polyclonal Antibody
The Bovine CCL11 (Eotaxin-1) polyclonal antibody is unlabeled and has been qualified for use in ELISA and Western blot applications. It is the capture antibody in the Kingfisher Biotech Bovine CCL11 ELISA. The Bovine CCL11 antibody was produced in chickens and is antigen-affinity purified. The reactivity by species is: (Bovine CCL11 - Strong) (Equine CCL11 - Weak) (Guinea Pig CCL11 - Weak) . For research use only.

Background
CCL11 belongs to the CC chemokine family and is commonly known as Eotaxin-1. There are at least 27 distinct members of the C-C subgroup reported for mammals. CC chemokines induce the migration of monocytes and other cell types such as NK cells and dendritic cells. CCL11 selectively recruits eosinophils by inducing their chemotaxis, and therefore, is implicated in allergic responses. Endothelial cells, smooth muscle cells, epithelial cells, alveolar macrophages and eosinophils are known to produce CCL11.
