The Canine CX3CL1 polyclonal antibody is unlabeled and has been qualified for use in ELISA and Western blot applications. It is the capture antibody in the Kingfisher Biotech Canine CX3CL1 ELISA. The Canine CX3CL1 antibody was produced in rabbits and is antigen-affinity purified. This antibody has shown no cross-reactivity with bovine, chicken, ferret/mink, human, or swine CX3CL1 proteins. Background
CX3CL1, also known as Fractalkine, is a member of the chemokine family. It has two functional forms: membrane-anchored CX3CL1 and soluble CX3CL1. Soluble CX3CL1 chemoattracts T cells and monocytes, while the cell-bound chemokine promotes strong adhesion of leukocytes to activated endothelial cells, where it is primarily expressed. CX3CL1 elicits its adhesive and migratory functions by interacting with the chemokine receptor CX3CR1.
