Chicken IL-17F Polyclonal Antibody
The Chicken IL-17F polyclonal antibody is unlabeled and has been qualified for use in ELISA and Western blot applications. It is the capture antibody in the Kingfisher Chicken IL-17F ELISA. The Chicken IL-17F antibody was produced in rabbits and is antigen-affinity purified. The reactivity by species is: (Chicken IL-17F - Strong) (Bovine IL-17F - None) (Canine IL-17F - None) (Human IL-17F - None) (Mallard IL-17F - None) (Rabbit IL-17F - None) (Swine IL-17F - None) . Product Specifications
Background
IL-17F is a member of the IL-17 family, which is comprised of 6 members [IL-17A, IL-17B, IL-17C, IL-17D, IL-17E (also called IL-25), and IL-17F]. IL-17 family members are involved in numerous immune regulatory functions, including inducing and mediating proinflammatory responses and allergic responses. IL-17 induces the production of many other cytokines (IL-6, G-CSF, GM-CSF, IL-1beta, TGF-beta, and TNF-alpha), chemokines, including IL-8, GRO-alpha (CXCL1) and MCP-1 (CCL2) and prostaglandins from many cell types (fibroblasts, endothelial cells, epithelial cells, keratinocytes and macrophages) .
