Proteins of this family play a central role during prenatal development and postnatal growth and regeneration of a variety of tissues by promoting cellular proliferation and differentiation. FGF7/KGF1 is mitogen factor specific for epithelial cells and keratinocytes and signals through Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor-2b (FGFR-2b) and plays an important role in kidney and lung development, angiogenesis and wound healing.Sterile Filtered White lyophilized powder.
