CCL24 is chemotactic for resting T lymphocytes and eosinophils and is a suppressor of HPP-CFC myeloid progenitor cells. It causes a transient rise in intracellular calcium levels in eosinophils and is involved in a variety of eosinophilic inflammatory diseases.
