CCL12, Murine
GoldBio growth factors are manufactured for RESEARCH USE ONLY and cannot be sold for human consumption!Recombinant Murine Chemokine (C-C motif) Ligand 12 (CCL12) Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 5 (MCP5, MCP-5) Small Inducible Cytokine Subfamily A Member 12 (SCYA12) Murine CCL12 is a chemokine containing four conserved cysteine residues, of which the first two are adjacent. It is expressed by macrophages and in lymph nodes and thymus tissue. Expression of CCL12 is upregulated after hypoxia and during bacterial infection and allergic inflammation. It is chemotactic for peripheral blood monocytes and fibrocytes and may play a critical role in the early stages of inflammation, as well as in joint and growth plate development. CCL12 is a ligand for CCR2.Sterile Filtered White lyophilized powder. Purified and tested for use in cell culture.Source:Escherichia coliMW: ~9.3 kDa (82 amino acids) Purity: >95% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analysesBiological Activity: Fully biologically active when compared to standard. The biological activity determined by a chemotaxis bioassay using human peripheral blood monocytes is in a concentration of 10-50 ng/ml.
