Glycochenodeoxycholic acid, sodium salt
Glycochenodeoxycholic acid (GCDC) is a bile salt that is used as an anionic detergent to solubilize lipids. In other applications GCDC can be used to induce hepatocyte apoptosis and inhibit calcium phosphate precipitationin vitro.
