HSD17B13-IN-3 (compound 2) is a potent hydroxysteroid 17ß-dehydrogenase 13 (HSD17B13) inhibitor with IC50s of 0.38 μM and 0.45 μM in biochemical assays using both β-estradiol or Leukotriene B4 (LTB4) as substrate and NAD+ as cofactor. HSD17B13-IN-3 shows low cell penetration[1].
