Background
IL-17F, a member of the IL-17 family of structurally related cytokines, has been shown to stimulate proliferation and activation of T-cells and PBMCs. IL-17F also regulates cartilage matrix turnover and inhibits angiogenesis. Recombinant murine IL-17F is a disulfide-linked homodimer of 30 kDa, consisting of two 134 amino acid residue chains.

The lyophilized IL-17F recombinant protein is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at -20˚ C. Reconstituted IL-17F is stable for at least 3 months when stored in working aliquots with a carrier protein at -20˚ C. As with any protein, exposing IL-17F recombinant protein to repeated freeze / thaw cycles is not recommended. When working with proteins care should be taken to keep recombinant protein at a cool and stable temperature.
